Hi, I’m Sidney! My academic background is in physics, but I am in the process of going back to school to study the history and philosophy of science. While still working as an engineer specializing in electromagnetic simulation, I have begun taking courses in history, philosophy, and the social sciences at both AACC and UMD. I am especially interested in the intersection of science and art, and how that relationship has shaped the public scientific imagination.
I currently live in Maryland. I love living by the water, because it gives me so many opportunities to get outside! I enjoying sailing and kayaking. I have a pit bull, Norbert, who loves to go swimming– although he has to wear a life jacket, because he’s not very good at it. I also have a cat, Leo, who is a very talented cuddler.
