This is my jumping spider, Guinevere. I thought she would be a good spokesperson for my first first post! This is my attempt at a coloring book page. I’m pretty happy how it turned out, especially since I have very limited experience working with vector graphics.
I chose a quote from Carl Sagan for the project, because his work always made me consider the intersection between science and art more deeply.
The goal was to create a coloring book page in Adobe Illustrator, combining a typeset quote with additional designs. I drew the border myself, but most of the interior is a college of Adobe’s available stock art. You can find a full size of the page below!
