For this project, I wanted to highlight some “nontraditional” tourist locations, particularly focusing on scientific research facilities. I had the opportunity to visit CERN in 2017, and it was very interesting to take a tour of the facility! Both of these locations appealed to me because of their repetitive, circular patterns.

I began by sketching out a series of six thumbnails, before choosing two design to further develop.
